Utmost Group Completes Lombard International Integration

After securing approval to acquire the business last year, Utmost Group aims to leverage the firm's capabilities in areas such as private placement life insurance, and other insurance-based wealth solutions.
Utmost Group, which provides insurance and savings solutions, has wrapped up the integration of Lombard International after acquiring the business in December last year.
Lombard International – now called Utmost Luxembourg – is led by Jurgen Vanhoenacker.
The combined business delivers insurance-based wealth solutions with £107.1 billion ($139.5 billion) of assets under administration; it serves about 200,000 clients as of 30 June 2025.
Lombard is a player in what is called private placement life insurance (PPLI) a wealth management solutions channel that this news service has covered for more than a decade (see this article back in 2011). Lombard, which describes itself as a “European leader of Luxembourg unit-linked life insurance,” offers cross-border wealth, estate, and succession planning for affluent, HNW and UHNW individuals.
